US Airways - European Goals 2002

In early 2002 I was asked if I could "spice" up US Airways' European Goals presentation, which was to be displayed at their regional meeting in Madrid. I created both an Introduction video clip and Closing clip, in addition to several transition clips. The Introduction clip consisted of several small pieces of a puzzle which fit together to create one of their 737 jets.

The closing video clip showed several aircraft flying in formation, and the transition clips were of a US Airways jet doing a "fly-by".
The puzzle scene which takes place during the introduction was actually turned into a physical puzzle which was distributed to the participants of the meeting.

Work Performed:

I Used a 3D model of a Boeing 747 and gave it the markings of a US Airways aircraft. The model was then animated using 3D Studio Max, and imported into Flash. The different clips were refined in Flash, and then exported as Video clips which were then embedded in the Powerpoint presentation.

Comments:

"This is the best presentation I've seen during my years with US Airways." - Director of Communications and Planning Europe - US Airways, Frankfurt Germany
